Fine Art Foundations I: Kinderartists
Fine Arts Foundation I provides an introduction to the essential elements of visual art through age-appropriate exploration in drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and printmaking. Young artists are guided to observe closely, experiment with line, shape, and color, and develop an early awareness of composition and texture. With an emphasis on process and discovery, this class cultivates both artistic confidence and foundational skills in a nurturing studio environment.

With an emphasis on critical thinking, material exploration, and personal expression, students learn to articulate artistic concepts and participate in thoughtful critique with their peers. This class provides a studio environment where young artists strengthen technique while cultivating a distinctive artistic voice.

Join us for a 6-week Summer Comic Book Club with Mr. Raf! Learn about the art of creating a comic through developing characters, building story arcs, and master visual storytelling techniques. From penciling and inking to panel layout and dialogue, each week adds a new layer of skills. Preschool Clay Class!
Welcome to DoodleWorm Clay Explorers, a three-week fine art class where preschool artists discover the joy of sculpting! Through guided play, little hands will press, pinch, and mold clay to create their own pinch pots—one of the oldest forms of pottery.
Each session is inspired by the theme of being a bucket filler—practicing kindness, gratitude, and a positive attitude through storytelling and art. As children sculpt, they’ll strengthen fine motor skills, build hand strength, and develop spatial awareness—key for early writing and self-care. This sensory-rich experience nurtures patience, problem-solving, and creative confidence.

Teen Spring Art Club
The spring session of Teen Art Club starts on March 21! Artists in grades 6th - 9th are invited to the studio for a variety of art-making experiences and technique demonstrations. Art lessons are designed for students to reflect on nature, emotion, identity, and community to create unique and personally significant artworks. Here, we will learn about both historical and contemporary artists to gain an understanding of the purpose of art in our culture. Connect with other artists and dive deeply into your own unique creative processes alongside other creative individuals!

The spring session of our 3rd-5th Grade Art Club begins on Thursday, March 20th! How do artists use the world around them to inspire and create their artwork? In the studio, Petite artists are inspired to reflect on their own experiences, observations, and interests and use their creative processes to turn their unique ideas visual.
